 Panelscape Shower Panels

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

TOOLS REQUIRED

Step One

Check that walls are even, otherwise fix battens to wall.

Step Two

Cut EDGING to size with fine tooth saw. Fit in vertical position at wall edge (if starting in corner, fit UNIVERSAL CORNER) and staple, pin or glue to wall.

Step Three

First cut panels to length using fine tooth saw. Fit first panel ROUNDED into EDGING or UNIVERSAL CORNER. Apply silicone adhesive to the back of the panel and glue to wall or battens.

Step Four

Panels can also be fixed to wall or battens by stapling or nailing through the U SHAPE panel edge instead of or as well as applying adhesive to the back of the panels.

Step Five

Repeat until whole wall is covered. To install the last panel, fit the EDGING or UNIVERSAL CORNER and measure the distance left. Deduct 6mm from the measurement and cut the panel to fit.
NOTE: For shower or bath walls, panel joins and bottom of panels should be thoroughly sealed with mould resistant silicone sealant.

Step Six

For ceiling application. To fit last panel into the CORNICE, place the CORNICE already on the panel before putting it to the ceiling and glue it all (panel + CORNICE) to the ceiling.

IMPORTANT

For a totally waterproof seal use mould resistant silicone sealant (eg Selley's Roof & Gutter Sealant) in all joints and channels during assembly. Run a continuous bead of silicone down the back lug of each panel. This will provide secure leak proof and mould free joins. For panel adhesive use a glue who’s manufacturer has approved the product compatible with PVC panel and wall substrate. Selley's Roof & Gutter Sealant when used as a glue is also the most effective.

WARNING

It is recommended that PANELSCAPE is not installed in front of or next to a fireplace or hot cooking appliances otherwise distortion may occur. Do not use outside, except for eave lining. To clean use a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive detergents.
